Well what a change in weather , woke up to clear sunny skies . Drove from Canungra to Texas via Cunningham Hwy and over Cunningham's gap. What a great drive , very steep , in 3rd gear most of the way up. Can remember being in a semi in the sixty coming down , very narrow and lots of run off spots in case the brakes failed . Now it's 2 lanes up so I didn't have to worry about holding anybody up.
So after an uneventful drive we arrived at the free camp on the Dumeresque river at Texas
