What a dreadful night ,so many noisy trucks continuously through the night , we did manage
a bit of sleep . Had to use the earphones so I could hear the tv . Anyway good to leave , would
not put in the diary to stay again . Great drive down the Newell highway , road in great condition
nice and wide . Arrived in Forbes to find a fantastic free camp right in town on a huge lagoon ,
must have had some rain as it was very full . Lots of water birds and big european carp . Hope they can dispose of them , the carp that is .
We have decided to stay an extra day and do a few chores as it is so nice a spot
